Installation titled "Heaping " are leaves arranged on thin thread( not so visible in the landscape) from the ground below a tree in shades of leaves turning dry, descending towards a heap collected at the foot of the tree.
Visually appearing as the leaves are suspended in mid-air ,playing or overcoming gravity.
As an illusion of weightless leaves, flying up into the sky or perhaps falling from the tree,
up on the ground .
It is an attempt to capture the beauty of the "in between ". The poetry of the "stillness" in motion . As the fall welcomes the spring , dealing with the paradox of birth and death , of generation and de-genration ,of what is and the surreal and of calmness and motion .
"Heaping " is a view of the cyclic change in nature , transformed into art .
A site specific installation at Pavati hill in Pune as a part of the Mohor -Pune Biennale 2013 .
